Ordering
Currently we accept all major credit cards for orders online. You may purchase merchandise from us by any of the following methods:

  Please use our shopping basket to order your items safely and securely.
   
• Phone
  Call us at 877-8-AFRICA; Dallas, TX residents (972) 296-9861 to place an order over the telephone. You'll be one of many who have shopped with us without credit card fraud.
  
  If your call is received after store hours, please leave a detailed message with a time you may be reached, and we will return your call at the earliest possible convenience. We will be glad to hold an item for you if you are sending a check or money order.
   
• Fax
  You may fax us at (972) 296-9550 to place an order by facsimile. For your convenience, you may print out our online order form, fill in the necessary information, and then fax the completed form to us.
   
• Mail
  Send check, cashiers check, or money order by mail. Note: International money orders must be in U.S. funds. Total purchase price must include shipping and handling charges (see chart below).

Availability
All purchases are subject to availability. We make every effort to keep our information accurate and up-to-date. However, some changes may not immediately be reflected on our website. If this is the case, we will notify you as soon as possible. Also, listed availability may not be applicable for multiple copies of an item or items. If you would like to know about the availability of multiple copies, please feel free to contact us.

Shipping and Handling Charges
Items purchased from our online store can be shipped by UPS, FedEx, or by the U.S. Postal Service. Average delivery for orders is 10-14 business days. Please allow extra time during holidays. However, if you need faster delivery, we do offer express shipping.

We can accept orders within the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii. There is an additional charge for delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and overseas military destinations. (See chart above). For international orders, please contact us by email or phone. Orders received after 9 a.m. CST will be processed the next business day.

Sales Tax
Merchandise ordered from African Imports is tax free outside of Texas. Sales tax at the rate of 8.25% is added to the subtotal for items shipped to a Texas address.

Return Policy and Product Guarantee
We want every customer to be 100% satisfied. If your merchandise arrives with
any damage, we will of course replace it free of charge (including shipping costs). Please contact us within 5 business days of receipt to report any damages. If you are not pleased with your purchase for any other reason, we will exchange the merchandise or give you a store credit (excluding shipping costs). For damaged or defective DVDS, CDS, apparel and accessories, we will only exchange for the exact product.  No exceptions. Our policy is to respond to all queries within 24 hours.

Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information that is supplied by you for the purpose of providing the goods and/or services you have requested. From time to time, African Imports may contact you via mail or e-mail to keep you up-to-date on the latest news or to send you promotional items. If you shop with us, we may collect the following information: name, address, phone number, email address, billing and shipping information. We only use your name, address, phone number, billing information and other personal information to process your order. The information that you provide is used for internal purposes only, such as confirming and tracking your order.
