One of the funniest men to fall up or down the steps of a stage is David Mann as the hilarious character "Mr. Brown." Fans of Tyler Perry's various stage plays such as �Meet the Browns� , �Madea�s Class Reunion� and � Madea�s Family Reunion� are very familiar with Mann and his hilarious "Mr. Brown" character. Now, Mann is bringing all of that humor and some old time religion to his first CD entitled, "Good Ol' Time Church."

Boasting more than a dozen traditional gospel tracks, Mr. Brown wakes up one morning and realizes that it isn�t Sunday morning after all. It�s Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. and Mr. Brown has missed church. In all of his born days, Mr. Brown has never missed church. So, he decides to have church at home but he doesn�t want to have church by himself. So he invites his daughter Cora (played by his wife, Tamela Mann) to have church with him, but she�s too busy. So, the hilarious CD revolves around Mr. Brown worshipping at home while he sings his favorite gospel tunes and continues to cajole Cora into coming out to have church with him.

The Dallas � Ft. Worth native and his wife, Tamela Mann, got their start in Kirk Franklin & the Family (that�s Tamela singing on Kirk Franklin�s pop smash �Lean on Me� and the seasonal classic �Now Behold the Lamb�) in the early 1990s. Thanks to the success of the Mr. Brown & Cora characters , Tyler Perry has now produced a new sitcom, �Meet the Browns� that will debut this summer. The Mann�s will also soon star in a �Meet the Browns� motion picture that Tyler Perry is producing. All of these new ventures will come together and bring greater exposure to �Good Ol� Time Church.�
