The story of 'A Change Is Coming' depicts a grandmother. Pearl. who is convinced to move up north and live with her daughter. Renee. along with her son-in-law. Walter. and her two grandchildren. Regina and Ricardo. As Pearl reunites with her family. she recognizes the separation that has occurred in the family and begins to open the familys eyes to the things they have overlooked.
