Miles Davis was not only one of the most innovative and influential artists in the history of jazz. he was a forward-thinking musician who continued performing right up to the final days of his life. Davis was in fine form in 1989 (less than two years before his death) when he performed with his group in Paris. and thankfully a video crew was on hand to record the proceedings.
